Peace Begins with Her is a United Nations Peacekeeping group action celebrating the role of women peacebuilders and peacekeepers around the globe. An activation of ”Peace Begins with Her” took place on 25 October 2023 in front of the United Nations Headquarters in New York City between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.

As part of the activation, my photo was part of a mosaic of fifty photos of women peacebuilders to be pasted on the ground outside the United Nations Secretariat Building in New York City on the day of the United Nations Security Council Open Debate on Women, Peace and Security.
